It is not unusual for a Kiger fresh from the wild to go for between $5,000 and $10,000 ( and sometimes higher) at adoption Auctions held by the BLM. ~~ This herd only originates from the Kiger Mountain and Riddle Mountain HMA Ranges. They are currently the only mustang herd managed by the BLM that consistently has a 99% adoption rate. ~The reason for this high adoption rate is more than careful management.
