Artist's Description
Apache is a little wild mustang with a lot of moxie. For over a year this little horse tried to take on a stallion who was bigger and more powerful and stuck with it, learning how to be a good fighter. Fighting among wild horses is so important to staying strong, stealing mares and building their own bands. Little Apache doesnt yet have his first mare but he sure has shown him self to be a brave little guy. This is a painting of him in winter. One of my favorite bachelor stallions of the Sand Wash Basin.
