Description

Once in a while a group of artists come together to have an Art Party called a pARTy, on line. Usually one of the organizers will put up a selected photo reference issue. Then announce that all the participants have 24 to 48 hours to create an original interpretation in their style.The images are then submitted and posted to a blog site. Artists can sell the work but because they are often so similar and from the same photograph the artists agree both to name the reference photographer and will not offer the images they created for competition in art contests or shows.
This little painting Play Time Kitten was created for one of the 2015 pARTys The reference photo came from Artist Kimberly K Santini.
